Monterey, California is located on the Central Coast of California, approximately two hours south of San Francisco. Flights through three airports are recommended:

Monterey Peninsula Airport: This is a small regional airport, serviced by United Airlines, American Airlines, U.S. Airways, Delta Airlines, and Express Jet Airlines. The Monterey Conference Center is a short 10 minute drive from the airport. A taxi from the airport to the Conference Center or the conference hotel, the Marriott, is approximately $20. If staying close to the Conference Center, everything is within walking distance.

Mieta San Jose International Airport: This airport is serviced by all major airlines and is approximately 75 miles from Monterey. Ground transportation from San Jose to Monterey is available via rental car or through the Monterey-Salinas Airbus for $30 each way. The Airbus drop-off/pick-up point is at Ordway Drug Store on Pearl at Alvarado in Monterey, which is approximately two blocks from the Conference Center or conference hotel, the Marriott.

San Francisco International Airport: This airport is serviced by all major airlines and is approximately 100 miles from Monterey. Ground transportation from San Francisco to Monterey is available via rental car or through the Monterey-Salinas Airbus for $40 each way. The Airbus drop-off/pick-up point is at Ordway Drug Store on Pearl at Alvarado in Monterey, which is approximately two blocks from the Conference Center or conference hotel, the Marriott.
